I do a lot of car camping. I'm in Australia. It's more 4x4ing and camping as the tracks I use aren't accessible with a normal car. I have this little ute. Nissian D40 with a 2inch lift and a 12k pound winch. Tires are a cross over between mud terrains and all terrains often regarded as the most aggressive all terrain available here. I drop them down to 25psi on the dirt.
I see people here saying 12v fridges are shit. I completely disagree. They are fantastic. I run dual batteries and my auxiliary powers the fridge. This allows me to go out into the bush for 7+ days and keep meat the entire time, when I'm not using a fridge the ice in my esky/ice box will melt in 2 days.
Pic is my basic campsite. I carry a chainsaw for processing.
