>>2231587Former boat and trailer mechanic Anon here. Don’t take those little metal fuckers off shore. They always end up tipping and sinking along with all your shit eventually. If you need something small to take out on glass smooth days a smaller older Boston Whaler like in picrel is pretty much unsinkable. Upside to the metal hulls are durability. They can be dragged up and beached over and over again easier than a hull made up of synthetic materials. All this said I don’t suggest going out on the ocean in anything smaller than 18 feet. There’s a difference between not sinking and having a good time.
