there is a guy who bought ~30 acres of land in Alaska, and he has to hike 300+ miles around a mountain range to get to his land (which has no roads or structures of any kind). only seen a couple minutes of his journey so far, but he seems pretty smart. he packs an inflatable raft thats capable of floating him & his pack down streams/rivers. he also seems to inflate it & put his pack in it while crossing frozen streams. and instead of blowing it up manually, he has this big garbage bag like thing he catches air with and then squeezes into the raft!
