For bedding, I declined to use my shitty wal-mart special summer bag I got ages ago, because the zipper ripped out testing it at home. I was only out $15, so I didnt bother taking it back.
Here I have Old Reliable, the red/plaid bag, and a Pendleton wool blanket I inheirited from my late grandfather. Gramps was an outdoorsman, but we were never close. I fully regret not spending more time with him, and learning how to /out/.
I suppose, in this way its sort of like bringing Gramps along on my adventure. I did not sleep as well as I wouldve liked, it did get chilly being near a lake. But with the bedding I had, I was a roasty toasty princess.
>>2129745nice pic anon. Im a street rider at heart, and never did get into off road. ADV bikes are still kick ass though, take those things damn nearly anywhere. Under the stars, no tent next to the bike sounds based as fuck. I never thought Id be a Harley guy, but in nearly 4 weeks of ownership shes surpassed my expectations and has always delivered on what ive asked.
