I got into college to be a mechanical engineer.
Why? I dunno, I just liked the idea of being a "mechanical engineer" I wanted to build things and be working on the jobsite.
Looking into actual mechanical engineering stuff it seems like most of what I'll be doing is being a desk monkey, "managing" workers and having to do gay finance bullshit, instead of being out actually designing projects and working on stuff.
The more I go through college the more I feel like I have chose the wrong path.
I was in Boy Scouts as a kid, I liked doing that, I never made Eagle Scout and it's something I really regret, but at the time I was going through Scouts was when Scouts started getting all gay and protective mom run making everything suck, our troop was too big and we never got to know everyone there because of the sheer size, all the "talent" either aged up or left and our Troop was severely lacking in actual skills and the whole thing fell apart.
Thinking about it now, I think I would really like to change paths and start going after something where I could actually do a job outdoors, that would be nice.
Don't really know what's out there as far as that goes but maybe like forester, or conservation agent or park ranger or something would be nice.
