Let me tell you a story:
Few guys found nice, pristine pond near their hometown. They thought it would be nice to establish camping ground in here, so they and their friend and possibly other people like them could use it. Maybe they'll meet other town folks interested in camping? Maybe they'll learn something new, or just spend quality time over campfire?. They made this official, get permissions, established camping site.
They was obviously aware they will have set rules and limitations so the others won't shit here and there. At first it worked nicely, but what they didn't expected is as soon people would hear about new place where 'cool' people hang out, and by 'cool' I mean people who actually have moral spines and brains, they would storm the place in large number. And during this horde raid the original purpose of the place, was be trampled and shit all over. Because the common people are so used to one time events given them for free by some organizations they don't even think what impact they would have on the place. They just shit all over everything everywhere they go. And when the pristine pond was destroyed, the horde moved over. Because it wasn't the cool place anymore. Some stayed, the ones who actually don't mind the place is ruined, they thrive in places filled with shit. And when the original member sometimes stumbles in that place out of nostalgia he would be thrown shit at and flee in horror.
This is how I feel about /out/. Another board ruined. Good job.
