Other gear that actually can't be machine-washed like my armor or motorcycle jacket I do in the sink or bathtub with some woolite, then let it air-dry. I move the shower curtain rod so it's over the bathtub and hang my gear on that, then prop up a box fan and let it go overnight. By morning most of it's ready to go, my motorcycle jacket takes about 24 hours before it's completely dry.
