>>1304855For the most part, everything seems to be on schedule. The Dale Sorghum (1st pic only) I planted is doing better and recovering from the rains. The Fisher's Early Sweet Corn I planted was hit hard by the heavy rains, but the half that is doing well has started tasseling out already when most everyone else is just planting corn now. I weeded the sorghum and corn last week, but the weeds came back with a vengeance. At least they are not 3 times as tall as they would have been.
Dog Days starts on Thursday here and it is already 105F in the shade with no rain in sight for 1-2 weeks. I've been watering on raised bed garden already today. Seems like summer will be hot and dry.
So far, I've harvested around 100lbs of food.
