All I wanted was to raise some Helix pomatia for home consumption. I measured some of the largest local snails and they are literally half the diameter of Helix pomatia. I'll give the local ones a go at farming for a season. I can at least flesh out how to do it and see if I even want to jump through all those flaming hoops to get and farm Helix pomatia.
