Hey /out/, first time posting here.
This is my first attempt at indoor gardening, and I have several, several, doubts. Will leave them here with some pictures, and hopefully someone will give me constructive advice.
And every container has a first layer of humus and a second one of dirt.
Sorry about my english.
1- When I bought my mint the leaves were big and healthy-looking. As more grew, the heavier it was, so I decided to harvest, according to instructions I saw on the internet (inb4 >using internet to give any advice). When it started to grow again, the leaves were smaller. Now it is starting to grow more, but still on this same size. What am I doing wrong?
2- I have absolutely no idea if my basil looks alright. I cut the flower that grew from the taller one and then cut the upper parts of the bigger ones to make an attempt of propagation (like this
http://www.17apart.com/2013/07/how-to-grow-propagate-basil-from.html).
3- What plant is this? With the little fruit. I bought lavender seeds (which I also have no idea how to properly take care of it) and that thing grew.
4- Should I transfer them to another vase and put rocks on the bottom for better drainage? I didn't do it because I have seen several people reusing containers (putting holes, of course) without the need of sand or rocks.
5- Any advice for arugula?
6- What can I do to make this dirt usable again? When I water it, looks like a plain, unhealthy mess.
