I last posted 3 threads ago (
>>2415032 ) and things have been going pretty well since. Plants have been growing, I have been harvesting and eating. Added some cucumbers since and some small ones are growing on the plants now. Had one casuality due to the heat, didn't water the herbs one day and I think it fucked my laurel up, time will tell if I manage to save it.
That being said I noticed some pests on my pak choi and some on my salad. The other plants seem clean.
Picrel are the best pictures I managed to take. Pic 1 and 2 are the pests on the pak choi. 1 under a 8x magnification, 2 under 20x.
They look like aphids of some sort to me, just wanted to make sure. Also they are ONLY on the pak choi, the tomato is perfectly clean for some reason. Anyways, what's the recommended way to deal with them? Some kind of soap spray or something?
Pic 3 is the salad under 20x magnification, it looks like some animal feces or eggs or some shit. It's a longshot but any guesses what it may be?
Thanks for any advice anons, gotta say this is the first year I have grown anything somewhat seriously and despite the balcony situation it has been really fun. Will soon harvest the pak choi seed pods for next year, let's see how well that works.
Also apologies for the mixed image quality, the lenses I used are cheap aliexpress trash for electronics, so they have basically no depth of field. I already had to hold the loose lenses in front of my phone like a goblin to get these images.
