>>255573It works. Cardboard and bubble wrap are both good insulators, because they trap layers of air between layers of other materials. Its the exact same thing when you dress for cold climate : you do not simply put warmer clothes, you add layers of clothes. It is also the same way double glazed windows work.
I used it 5 days in 10-20°C (50-68°F) weather. 10° by night, 20° by day. You keep it away from direct sunlight and don't let it open to long (like you would do with any cooler) and it's OK.
And yes, I enjoyed making that shitty cooler, bitch.
