Go ahead and take 2tf thick wet soggy rotted chunks of trees and bed them right at the bottom, and build up from there. every shitty, broken, rotten and wet piece of log you never tried to burn before has a place in the lower tiers of an upside down fire. As long as you have enough good kindling to build a fire on top, you're set. Once it gets hot enough and the "China syndrome" starts you're set for at least hours.
