My local water shed council put out a vague statement 3 years ago on Brookies naturally returning to my go e river's head water, and every year since i make a few trips to try to catch em in these weird unmarked farm field tribs. It's a fools errand since i live an hour away and am not familiar with the area. I've seen one 4 inch brook 3 years ago in October up there, but nothing since. Someday I'll catch Brookies in near Detroit.
