A quick review of the Benchmade 940 unbranded clone from aliexpress:
Pros:
It's good. Rough action out of the box but after a day or two it's gotten pretty smooth.
Came very sharp and I cut some cardboard and it it seems to hold an edge okay. It was listed as D2 which seems accurate. Blade centering, detent and grind quality is all great.
Blade has a tiny amount of side to side play but rock solid up and down. Tried spine whacks and it held up fine.
Cons:
Screws are very soft and really locktited in. I managed to strip one of them removing the pocket clip. Spring tension is quite high (don't know how this compares to a real 940).
All in all a very nice knife. Well worth the $35 I paid. 9/10
