>>553053Well for a lot of people in certain areas it's not uncommon for SHTF scenarios to actually occur, whether it's storms, earthquakes, fires or what have you. Sure, there are a lot of nutjobs who prepare for the goddamn apocalypse, but most preppers are worried about actual potential threats. Economic recessions happen too frequently and there will probably be another big one within 10 years the way things are going.
Besides, if you go /out/ a lot then a BoB would take hardly any effort to make and it's quite frankly stupid for anyone to not have any sort of plan in the even of a disaster.
