Throw some 33" Mudterrains and it will go anywhere with that 4.10 posi out back and a welded front if it already dosnet have a limited.
Take all the camping/fishing gear you need. Pull a trailer no problem. It will support a sizable roof tent. Sleep in it if you want plently of room (im 6'3").
The 350 Chevy is the AK47 of motors. It will take care of you if you keep up on repairs when necessary. I beat the shit out of mine now sitting at 183k miles and it runs strong.
Find parts at any pick your part on the cheap. The cheapness adds to its longevity.
