I hate when all the major manufacturers with nice jacket designs use some shitty "hightech" goretex that wet out in a minute and needs regular toxic dwr maintenance that is bad for the environment. In the other hand, cheap jackets that uses better nonbreathable materials are fitted like a garbage bag.
Its insane why i cant find any old fashion rain gear with good design. Can manufacturers just finally admit that this whole "breathable" fabric shit has failed badly and use normal materials that does not wet out and dry quickly? Atleast for now when the technology is just not there yet.
