>>286881This week has been rather slow. I've picked up trash and carried a few things back to the house, but most of the time has been spent hanging out and socializing, attempting to make new friends and find new areas in the city. Thursday, before drum circle, Roz and I were out walking around when I had a long story to tell Roz. We decided to sit and hang out on a carpet we'd just passed, so we plopped down and roz made a sign while I told my story. She also plucked around on her Uke but was mostly just practicing.
I finished my story and we smoked before gathering our things to leave. Just as we were about to, the owner came out and insisted we stay and play music. He then went back inside and we were pretty confused. He returned a minute later with a big plush pillow and a bowl with a $5 bill in it and told us we had to stay and play and that we'd make good money. We stayed there for another hour or so feeling obligated, but in the end didn't actually make any money besides the $5 he put in. Still it was pretty funny being forced to busk because we sat on his carpet.
