>>1558798>>1558813I routinely trap raccoons. They are a plague in this area. I currently have 10 raccoon pelts from raccoons I've trapped this season alone. When I get some more funds I'll be purchasing more traps, by the dozen, and will be more aggressive in trapping raccoons.
Here's what I've been up to since I posted. I made a cage box for the Conibear trap. There's a bait basket inside that will help prevent raccoons from simply reaching in and stealing the bait. It isn't 100% complete, but this is the general product. I put some C-clamps on the live trap where the problem of the wire locking mechanism occurs to help prevent it from moving.
