trenches were digged in the early summer, so in a week or so they were dry, while the walls were built. only then they put the roofs.
again, not my style but i was really surprised by how comfortable the houses are, one of them can acomodate a couple and two children and they've been living there for more than 2 years. they've put special atention to interior finishing with adobe plastering and painting. super hippie but nice and clean.
they built them really fast and mostly with local materials, i think it can be a good option if you want to to go off the grid for a while.
