A bunch of these popped between the pines in front of my college restaurant last week. Trustworthy collegues have confirmed to me they are meadow mushrooms (Agaricus campestris). They apparently grow there every year, and other people had already took a few, so I grabbed them 2 days ago.
I tried to make a sauce with them this morning (w tomatoes, bellpeppers, onions and grana padano), it tasted like pizza toppings. :)
Do you guys have tips to preserve them? It'd be a shame if I have to throw out the rest...
