>>2118397Oh I was there last month. I don't think those things will bloom till late June/early July in the highlands of West Virginia, but I think cranberry backcountry and/or blackwater canyon area will be prime viewing areas.
We got to see them bloom last year in July and it was great. I guess they probably bloom a bit earlier closer in to piedmont along the parkway, like you said.
We were in the middle, briefly of a party of teenagers at a waterfall fairly close to the parkway in VA called Panther Falls. They were playing super loud music, but thankfully we don't encounter that much.
