>>1125180i used an angle grinder to cut the blade and tang out of a tempered saw. did the bevels with a grinder too. then i filed the edge with a hand file to get it sharp. handle is deer horn which i used a saw and chisel to make space to seat it in. drilled a hole through and used a chopped nail peaned to hold it in and wood sealant to fill the gaps. made the sheath with a single piece of leather and metal wire to bind it. its mounted to the belt by two cuts either end which the belt passes through. the strap is held by a ball knot and a loop of rope. pic related is what the knife did to my foot cause the strap isnt postioned that good and it fell out while i was running. but at least i know i did a good job sharpening it. this was my first time making a knife so if theres anyone else in the thread with experience your wisdom would be appretiated
