At what number of people does a tent make more sense than a hammock?

Hammocks are obviously the patrichians choice for solo camping, but tents scale better and there are very limitted circumstances which they are better. Wheres the line, because obviously a big tent is still less practical than just a few hammocks, so what point do you set the weight saving at overpowering the hammock?
