nice little collection of pipes I have now. Only 3 of these are not from ebay. Most of the pipes to the left and right now heavy duty stem restoration. The ones with the stem halfway need beeswax which should be here soon. These took me over a week to (still cleaning some) get cleaned. Most looked like they've never seen a pipe cleaner. So far i've done heavy shank cleanings with the stems soaking in 91% ISO, and then afterwards the stems were cleaned out. Then 3 S&A soaks, followed by an alcohol retort until the alcohol is somewhat clear. I'm having a hard time with the oxidation removal off some of the stems, so i need to do more work on that. Oh and to top it off, the stems and shank get another cleaning to make sure most of the crap is out and then the pipes get to sit for a few days to dry off. If i suspect mold, then I will drip just enough alcohol into the bowl and shank to coat the sides and light on fire 1 or 2 times to kill the spores.
