The hydroflask is a regular vacuum bottle, which means it's like a thermos, but what I really like about it is that the smaller one has the exact same threads as a klean kanteen, and the larger one has the same exact threads as a nalgene. This means that all my nalgene/kanteen accessories that I already have work perfectly on the hydro flask.
