>>586893I did another. No 12 this time. The patina was a mustard treatment followed by a vinegar-soaked towel wrap. As usual, the handle was varnished with marine varnish, which gives waterproofing. I also inlet the blade slot with sandpaper.
The blade was dull from the factory, which is a first for me dealing with Opinel. I don't really object because if you can't properly sharpen a blade you shouldn't own one, but it was kind of a bummer.
