She chased down a rabbit once and didn't even hurt it. She just kept poking it with her nose as to say "Why did you stop running I was having fun!"
I've taken her to the dog park, and even when other dogs are aggressive she just keeps trying to play. I don't think she even understands the concept of violence. I've seen her walk right up to a opposum and she just ran around it in circles trying to make it play with her. And when it eventually bit at her, she just left it alone.
People who hate any kind of dog are letting memes form their opinions for them. Or they simply haven't had enough experience with them while growing up. Dogs mold to mirror their masters, if you're calm and in control they will be too. But if you're bitter and mean, they will be as well.
