You are also right In the "three types" I flubbed what I should have said was ALL rattlesnakes, copperhead, and cottonmouth. Coral snakes only bite if their handled so I didn't talk much about them. Sorry for my mistake didn't mean to spread misinformation ill be careful when posting late at night again.
Also after further thought compression bandages are a VERY BAD THING when it come to pit viper venom. Since it is a tissue toxin that is already localized and already going to swell drastically any compression could cause further tissue ischemia. Ill show you were it referenced it in my field guide.
