I bought that little tool for rigging the silicone bands because I'm a pussy. Anybody use one of those?
They fuck with you on terminal tackle though. $10 for a pack of 3/4oz bullet weights as seen above. Plus I was looking for the hooks for the wacky rigs, and they have the Bass Pro brand which were priced ok at $5 or $6 for a 25pk, but the largest size they had was 2/0 which would be a bit small for bass. Then right next to it, they have the Gamakatsus which are $4 for a 5pk but they had them in 3/0+. So I went to the saltwater section and just grabbed Mustad octopus hooks, $3 for an 8pk.
The drop shot weights were overpriced too, like $6 a pack. So I grabbed a pack of the 1/8oz ones, but then had to go to the saltwater section again for the bell weights.
They carry the Gremlin weights which are normally cheap and work fine, but they only have Gremlin split shots. Nothing else that you would want to use. I just need to find a Walmart with 3/4oz Gremlin bullet weights for 98¢ a pack instead of $10 at Bass Pro. If they were even a little above reasonably priced, I would just buy them while I'm at Bass Pro. But not $10 for some lead weights.
