What's the go with canvas oilskin jackets? Should I pull the trigger on it or is some Moby Dick meme shit? I camp in the mountains where it's frosty, foggy, and windy for about 8 months a year. Not interested in puff jackets and expensive /fa/ brands like North Face and Kathmandu. Back when I lived in North America I had a nice thick Carhartt canvas jacket with sherpa lining, but you literally can't find anything like that here.
