>>1831556And thanks to the anons that recommend the Daiwa BG reel a few threads back. I ended getting it and new rod and it was definitely an upgrade from my Penn wrath 5000 combo. I only caught one fish that day with the new set up but it definitely felt "smoother" I dont know how to describe it. I'm still kind of new to this so I'm not sure if it's the new set up or just more experience but with the new rod I was able to cast farther, and I ended up getting snagged on the rocks less, so I ended up losing less rigs.
