>>1205139I cut off the hipbelt in a foolish impulse, I don't miss it as I didn't use it 90% of the time, however, I find them super useful for more sketchy bits of a trail. I had a lot of fun boulder hoping on the GR11 and a hipbelt was handy then just for the extra stability.
