It has over 3 million lakes, 8 species of wild ungulates, 4 species of wild canids, 3 species of bear, and a whole slew of smaller critters. This is obviously not including the diverse populations of birds, fish, and plants.
Saying you can go through 3 biomes in 2 hours is cute, because you can do that in Alaska (and more). It's nothing to go from the boreal forests to muskegs to tundras to alpine.
