Question: is the knob on the bottom of the pipe removable? The better pipes have that so you can clean them out easily. As you might imagine, cleaning these pipes can be a chore.
The bowl and stem will snug up once you start smoking it. The wood will naturally absorb some of the moisture in the tobacco and swell to seal the joints.
