>>1077577You gotta call West Marine first, maybe it's only in my area since they didn't sell too well. They have one in an electric chicken color, might get it for spillway snook.
>>1077579>Btw for snookfegs, how big are you guys going for jerkbaits and shit? I've been running stuff like 3"-4"Snook really like to key in on size, look around and find out what bait is in the area and match that. I've seen someone catch a huge mother snook on a little mirrodine and I personally have caught tiny snook on 9 inch spoolteks so don't be afraid to go really big or really small. It's the summer time so they will probably be keyed in on bigger bait in your area, size 12 or 14 x-rap is perfect. As for color, white works really good on the beach and darker colors like gold or chartreuse work good is spillways or brackish water.
>I don't want to get skunkedJacks are really aggressive, they'll hit lures nearly their size.
>For smaller or medium canal and intercoastal snook, should I be going bigger to get more attention?Try to find out what bait is in the area and match the size. I lost a good snook at the pier on a huge mojarra that I was almost certain even a mother snook wouldn't be able to fit in her mouth but it did. These fuckers will swallow foot long ladyfish or mullet like nothing so don't be afraid to throw huge gamblers or swing impact fats if you see big bait in the area.
