Found this in my parents attic. Apparently my father won it during some fishing competition in the 70's. It was only used once and then left up there. They said I could keep it.
I tried breaking off a piece of the line but it still feels stronk as hell after all these years. The rod itself has a slight curve to the right, the line was under tension when I found it so it's been left strung like a bow for decades.
Everything looks shiny and clean and probably only needs some lubrication.
I have never done any trolling in my life and I doubt I ever will.
