I normally plan out 3 small meals for each day I'm out, skip lunch, and have huge dinners.
I like oatmeal pack and dried fruit for morning.
Hard bread and tuna packet for lunch.
Mac and cheese pacs and tuna/spam for dinner.
This is intermixed with snackables like nuts and dried fruit. Honey sticks are GODLY on the trail. Coffee and tea are a must too.
