The best thing about dogs is that they aren't aware of what death is or that it will happen to them.
Even knowing this it's so, so fucking rough to take your dog to the vet and put them to sleep. Especially lonely guys like me with no human friends, who really depend on companionship that dogs offer. I don't have gfs, will never have kids, because of this I worry that I care about my dogs far too much and it fucks with me even more when they have to leave. All I can do is pray to fucking God that they were as happy in their lives as I could make them be.
