Swinging is when you let the current take your fly and it pulls through the current to animate the fly. There are dry flies that skate the surface like screaming banshees, and bomber flies, but it's most common with soft hackles, wet flies, and streamers.
>strippingThat's exactly what it sounds like, cast out and strip the fly back. That's the most common way to fish streamers, but it also works with wet flies, and is your only option in still water.
