There's a Sasquatch research group that operates maybe an hour or two away from where I live. I don't believe in Sasquatch at all, but I do enjoy camping and backpacking, and the idea of going out and fucking around in the woods at night with thermal and night vision camera gear under the guise of trying to catch some big hairy stinky cryptid just sounds kind of fun in general.
My only concern is that these kind of topics tend to attract borderline schizos... I don't want get out there and end up spending the entire time listening to a bunch of weirdos drone on about insane conspiracies, forest gnomes, fairies, etc.
