>>302066Yeah I'm in the USA particularly Southern California and near a Los Angeles suburb. This is the first time I've ever heard of free mulch. Is there a specific or general name for the place you're talking about? I'm completely new to this and had no idea you could do this... let me know!
>>302094I'm doing a raised bed, a corn patch which is all good to go but I need lots of mulch, and a raspberry patch that I plan to set up. I'd need some more garden soil/compost but yeah like I mentioned, I've never ever heard of this free soil or free much so please let me know what or where these places are or for my area! I can't set up a compost bin because of rat problems in the area, and my parents dogs make a mess everywhere so it won't be possible to set up a compost bin this year unfortunately.
>>302120Who do I call or where? I'd love to get in on this free stuff!
ANYWHO, this is the ad for the 5 for $10 sale on the Red Mulch which ends tomorrow. 3 weeks ago, they had "3 for $10" so I don't know if I should 'hold out' or go crazy and buy 10 bags because the sale ends tomorrow. I want the red mulch because I'm guessing the color red is good for tomatoes like the 'red reflective mulch' I've seen used for tomatoes that helps crop yield. Also the 5 for $10 sale on the potted veggies and herbs sounds like a good time to pick up some Rue for my soon-to-be raspberry patch that I'm going to set up...
