I went last year. Stayed in backpackers camp in valley first night. In the morning walked up Four Mile Trail to Glacier Point then south along the Panorama Trail towards Buena Vista Lake. Set up camp about 1/2 mile east of trail. Walked back towards the valley the next day stopping at the waterfalls and stuff.
