the band is the stock one not as good quality as the red high velocity, but if you shorten your band a bit it will improve it. as far as projectiles i prefer 1/4in steal shot- 1/2 in depending on distance and sze of animal. the bigger the projectile the faster it will lose height and accuracy.
Also here is a nice simple mod for your sling shot so you can set it as a sling bow to shoot arrows, with this mod you can kill big game with your sling shot. the key ring works good but if you shoot side arm you need to put something over the elastic on the ring or your arrow will drag on it.
