I want to buy a rainfly and hammock. I have $200 to spend. Could you dudes recommend me the best combo? They seem to be the way to go over ground sleeping.

I have a hammock related question:

I sleep facedown 100% of the time. Is this possible (or perhaps I should phrase it comfortable enough to be practical) in a hammock? Are there any designs that would facilitate good face-down sleeping? I was looking at a Hennessy Asym.

I have heard from a few folks that hammocks are so comfy that face-down sleepers will be converted. Has anyone experienced this?

Thank you tr/outs/, I'm moving to Nicaragua for a 6 month field season and would really like to break my woodland habit of sleeping on the ground.

I have a Hennessy Explorer Deluxe. If you buy it off their website you can also get a larger Hex rainfly instead of the too small regular for the same price. I also have the 4 season set up. I have a bottom entry model, but I think if i could do it again I would buy a side zip model. I use a rappel ring/ biner set so i dont have to tie knots. I also have an Eno double nest, but it would not do for serious camping IMO. They look pretty neat. I know some anon on here uses one and he put some wooden dowels across it (where the cords meet the actual hammock in the bottom-left-center of your picture) and says he can roll it up like a scroll and it doesn't swallow him up while sleeping.

I have a Hennessy Asym. and also sleep face down all the time. The hammock is very comfortable but I just can't sleep in it, I can lay there for hours without falling asleep on my back.
