I have two rows of pine trees that are planted 50 foot off the creek, I cleared all the branches in the middle, built a small shelter and have a beautiful little hidden clearing in the middle of dense trees. a few years back there was a thread about all the sc/out/s who have died while /out/ and someone suggested a memorial be built for them. I commented on my spot and push come to shove it was decided to bury a knife in a tree for every dead sc/out/. As time went on I lost track of the dead sc/out/s, but the tradition stands. Every time someone close to me passes I go out there and put a knife in a tree. Once a year in December I go out there, build a fire, and drink with them.
When I die I want to be buried there.
