Newb on the Southern Upland Way

No.1020066 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
This summer I am backpacking for the first time in my life. I decided to do the Southern Upland way, a 212 mile (340 km) coast to coast trip in Scotland. The reason I went for this specific route is because it isn't too hard. However, the main reason I am even doing this is losing weight. It's not a small route, that's for sure, but there aren't any big peaks. I have a full month, 30 days, to do it and that should be more than enough.

I want to share the route and the gear I am taking. Hopefully you guys can give me some feedback and what not. Just here to shoot the shit.
