Tbh, you might be better off leaving one of the top layers behind and either having someone ship it to you or just getting a cheap fleece (hiker box maybe?) for that small section in the mountains.
Shoes are completely up to the user. If for some strange reason stilettos are optimal for you, they're optimal for you. You'll come to your own conclusions there. And will prolly talk about shoes alot w the other hikers.
I've gotta say tho- I wouldn't bring underwear. It's just another step between your balls and sweet sweet ventilation. If you do nothing else, bring some goldbond powder- DEFINITELY NOT THE EXTRA STRENGTH VERSION, and you'll thank me.
