Where do you keep your tackle? How is it organized? What are some critical things you carry? Here's my big one, and the fanny pack for when I'm creek fishing. Bass Pro XPS and Badlands Ambush.

The rod/reel are:
St. Croix Premier 6" Med power fast action with quantum mantis.
St. Croix Triumph 6'6" Med power fast action with Shimano Sahara 1500FB

I keep my crankbaits organized into 3 different boxes based on diving depth. Within each of those I have similiar colors and sizes grouped up.

I have one box dedicated to small ultralight stuff and another with soft plastics that have already been rigged up. I've also come to realize its better to leave soft plastics in their original bag because heat can mess them up in the boxes.

I have 2 different hooks on te snells: Aberdeen for bluegill and bait holders for catfish. Next to the smell holder is a dual sided box that has all my weights and hook varieties.

A spinnerbaits box is also great because it protects them from getting bent.

Other random stuff: nitrile gloves, bug spray (A MUST!!!), multitool, fingernail clippers(great for cutting line), line, reel grease/oil, old candle (helps keep multi section rods from separating when casting), gulp worms, filet knife, catfish skinners, forceps, and small pair of scissors.

I keep my stuff in this old box my grandpa gave me when I was 12. I don't have a pic of mine since it's out in the garage. It's got the 3 drawers that fold out. I keep the plastic in the first drawer, the metal in the second, all the hooks and leaders/sinkers, things like that in the third drawer, and every thing too big to fit in the bottom tray of the box. I don't have much tackle because I only go for trout/crappie/bluegill mostly here in Iowa.

I keep a larger box in my truck with extra line, rod tip repair kits, and change out the removable boxes depending on what I'm fishing for. I use a small box to carry down to the water that has hooks, weights, pliers, and other items that can be replaced easily on the water.

I have a tackle box similar to ops pic.

1 side pocket holds a scale
pocket on the other side holds crawfish scent spray
front pocket has a main part and a second smaller zipper on the front. Small zipper part holds a dual blade knife(straight edge and a serrated edge), super glue(really useful with keeping trailer on or keeping weight/rattles in tubes.
Main front pocket usually holds 2 smaller 6 slotted flip open tackle boxes that I can put in my trout vest as well that contain small cranks and inline spinners as well as 1 small rattle trap.'

The main tackle portion holds 4 plano style boxes.

1. Hardbaits.
I fish a river so I don't need cranks that dive deeper than 6 foot. I have a few crawfish colored fat body square bills and a charteuse blue back crank.
2 jerkbaits, a floater and a slower sinking
zara spook puppy and 2 minnow style poppers and a hollow body frog for top.

2. spinnerbaits/buzzbaits/jigs
spinnerbaits at all times all the same booyah pond magic. 1 red/black 1 mainly charteuse with some black/yellow strands and fleck 1 white
I live by these spinnerbaits.

3.all soft plastics out ready to use.
Tubes/super flukes/ shad flukes/curly tail worms/finesse worms/etc

4. sinkers and hooks for different situations as well as room for torn plastics I plan on melting down and recycling.

The lid has a zipper portion on the inside I carry extra plastics I use a lot in their original containers.

RODS:
I only have 2.
6'6" Abu Garcia Ambassador medium action with a abu Garcia Silver Max reel

5'5" Abu Garcia tourney grade ultra light with a Shimano Sienna reel.

I plan on getting a Larger spinning rod for better finesse presentations and keeping my trout rod for only trout applications.

I kind of regret not getting a backpack style tackle box rather than one like OPs pic.

I walk hole to hold along 15 miles of river and it helps being easily portable.

Owell, a good bag will last forever and mine will transfer to boat use better,

Yeah, small profile crawfish baits are deadly this time of year.

I also use a chain stringer for trout. rope stringers tend to tear up their gills and if I happen to catch more than my limit I can usually let the smallest fish go on a chain stringer so long as I'm mostly wading.

Yea that's why I have that fanny pack. When I was in college I didn't fish alot of big water. Mostly fast moving streams and creeks. Smallmouth, largemouth, gar, and sauger. I would just throw my needed stuff in there and wade away. I would highly recommend Badlands gear. I had a cheap FLW pack from Wally World before, it was great but the new ones is so much better.

I would have to say the Yum Crawbug in 2.5" was my absolute favorite bait in streams in NW Arkansas. It would catch anything out there. Most gar I caught with it were snagged in the tail. Kinda weird.
